The Ministry of Defence, Government of India, intends to procure quantity Nine (09) Integrated #Drone Detection and Interdiction System (Improved Version) under Buy (Indian) Category.
The proliferation of low RCS Drone/ Remotely Piloted Aircrafts (RPAs) /Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has enhanced the air threat multifold. They may be employed individually or as a SWARM as cheaper and flexible options to target own assets. These threats can be countered by utilizing multi sensor and multi kill options integrated into cohesive system with suitable mobility. The proposed system should be able to deploy independently or in conjunction with in-service Air Defence weapon system in all types of terrain as obtainable in India (Plains, desert & HAA).
