According the Indian Defence Ministry, the value of arms / defence exports by India has grown approximately by six times since 2014, with the last fiscal registering Rs 12,814.54 Crores. Several factors like rising demand, greater innovation, more conducive policies and a maturing ecosystem in defence and aerospace manufacturing space are leading to the growth in the sector.
