The Director R&DE (Engrs), Dighi Pune – 15, for and on behalf of President of India, invites Expression of Interest through e- Tendering method from reputed Govt. approved manufacturer/supplier for Pre-Qualification of prospective bidders for Development of 2 prototypes of 15m MLC-60 Composite Bridging System
Technical Expertise
Expertise available in the critical areas to complete the task
a) The Vendor in the capacity of contractor or #subcontractor should have supplied or executing an order for #DRDO Lab or Armed Forces pertaining to at least one of the area listed below –
i. Carbon/Epoxy or Glass/epoxy (continuous fibers) composites structures in VARTM/RFI/Prepregs.
ii. Lead integrator of any system on High Mobility Vehicle (6×6 HMV or higher variant)
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
b) Further, the vendor should also have in-house skill set for at least one of the below (see the detailed Infrastructure requirement for each as mentioned at Appendix A)
i. Structural analysis capability (including composites), composite manufacturing capability and associated infrastructure.
ii. Mechanical system (mounted on 6×6 HMV or higher variants) design and manufacturing facility.
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
c) Vendor having only one in-house skill set (as mentioned above) should collaborate with the other vendors for remaining skill set(s). The name of all such sub-contractors shall be submitted along with proposal.
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
d) The Vendor as well as it’s all subcontractor should have a certified & valid Quality Management System.
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
e) Vendor should have trained manpower in the field of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics with minimum 1 year of working experience to execute the job.
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
f) Vendor should have an in-house Quality Control department with trained manpower for inspection & quality assurance. Self-certified copy with allotted manpower details with their experience in Quality Control department to be provided.
Vendor not meeting the above criteria will be rejected.
g) Vendor should have established sources for component / raw material procurement. Vendor shall submit the details of preliminary identified supplier for major subsystems.
h) Vendor should have experience in documentation as specified in technical specification. Vendor shall submit the documentary evidence of same.
