Garden Reach Shipbuilding and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd. And Kongsberg Maritime, Finland has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for co-production of indigenous Water Jets (WJs) of up to 3.5 MW.
The Waterjet propulsion systems are extensively used onboard the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard ships and therefore this collaborative effort of GRSE and Kongsberg Maritime has huge potential in coming years.
