The Recruitment of female candidates in National Defence Academy commenced from the year 2022 (NDA-148 course, July 2022 induction).
Further, the year-wise recruitment is as follows:

Noteworthy, the National Defence Academy is the joint defence service training institute of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services i.e. the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academy for further pre-commission training.
There are 57 women cadets who were recruited in National Defence Academy. The State/UT-wise details are as under:

Same facilities are provided to women recruits at par with male recruits in NDA. Facilities provided to cadets are:
· Common training.
· Common academic curriculum.
