The purpose of this EoI is to shortlist the Industry Partner for issue of RFP for role of DcPP towards development and production of Heavy weight Torpedo (HWT) for IN platforms.
Heavy Weight torpedo (HWT) is a next generation stealth torpedo to counter contemporary ship and Submarines threats in oceanic waters. HWT is 533mm caliber multi-role weapon engineered with advanced technologies of Acoustic Homing, Wake Homing and fiber Optic systems to achieve highest single shot kill probability in intense countermeasure environment.
