Department of Defence Research and Development issues tender for Weapon System Evaluation and Simulation Platform-H

The Department of Defence Research and Development, India has issued a tender / RFP for the procurement of 1 set of Weapon System Evaluation and Simulation Platform-H

The system to be procured is intended to provide a unified platform for Modelling, Simulation and Evaluation of the entire weapon system scenario with computing environment, encompassing the weapon system’s mission critical elements/entities, targets, sensors, and environment along with 3D visualization of the simulation.

The weapon system entities include target, radar, launcher missiles.

Further, the WSESP includes creation, deployment as well as simulation of scenarios of weapon system entities on the top of Geographic Information System (GIS) environment.

GIS incorporates static and moving data, maps, satellite imagery and terrain elevation data in different formats and references.

Noteworthy, WSESP can be broadly classified into 5 major components: Visualizer, Control and Monitoring Manager. Analyzer, Entity Server, and system software.

The vendor has to set up a working weapon system evaluation and simulation platform that allows multiple aspects of design, modelling and analysis of the system.

The WESP should be completely deployable using existing hardware setup facility at DRDL.

The last date for bid submission is 22 January 2024.
