Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is on a two-day bilateral visit to Qatar.
Noteworthy, this is Prime Minister’s second visit to Qatar, he first visited Qatar in June 2016.
The Prime Minister arrived in Doha on 14th February and was received by H.E. Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the airport.
Thereafter, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in his first engagement today at Doha, Qatar.
The two leaders exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in sectors such as trade, investment, energy, finance, and technology.
Further, they also discussed recent regional developments in West Asia and emphasized the importance of upholding peace and stability in the region and beyond.
