Indian Army issues RFP for procurement of 106 Inertial Navigation System

The Indian Army has issued a Request for Proposal; (RFP) to procure 106 Nos. of Inertial Navigation System through Fast Track Procedure under ‘Buy (Indian)’ category and seeks participation in the procurement process from prospective Indian vendors. The RFP stipulates that the system should be mounted on a light vehicle and contain GPS, Inertial Measuring Unit, Control and Display Unit, Optical Device for transferring orientation, Laser Range Finder, and power supply modules. Besides, the overall weight of the system less the vehicle should not exceed 150 kgs.
