The Defence Research and development Orgainzation (DRDO) has come out with a RFP / tender for the procurement of 3 Nos. of Processor Based Ground Mine (PBGM).
As per the Request for Proposal (RFP) / tender issued the bidding firm should have previous experience of supply of empty hardware of Processor based Ground Mine (PBGM) to Indian Navy/ Ordnance Factory/ any other relevant firm and should possess the required drawings for manufacturing of empty hardware of PBGM, necessary document proof should be enclosed with the bid towards the same (The document includes the previous supply order/ purchase order) .
The expected Delivery Period for supply of items/rendering services would be 6 Month from the Effective Date of
the Contract.
About the PBGM
The PBGM is a bottom sea mine capable of detecting and destroying surface and sub-surface targets based on the Acoustic/Magnetic/Pressure influence anomaly in littoral and blue waters.
