M/S Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited has signed an intent to set up its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in the Jhansi node Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) on 16th June 2023.
AVNL has expressed its intent to set up Maintenance, Repair, and Overhauling (MRO) facilities in the Bundelkhand region, Uttar Pradesh close to Babina.
It will be the first ‘Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities of Battle Tanks Jhansi’ in North India giving much-required support to existing setups in Pune.
This massive facility will span 470 to 500 acres of land.
The investment proposed is INR 793 Cr.
The project will commence in December 2023 in full swing.
