Bharat Dynamics reports 42% fall in net profit for Q4

Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

Notably, the DPSU has witnessed about 42.22% fall in net profit at Rs 152.76 Crores for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 264.36 Crores for the same quarter in the previous year.

Further, the total income of the company witnessed a decrease by 40.74% at Rs 835.43 Crores for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 1409.77 Crores for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Also, to be noted that for the year ended March 31, 2023, the DPSU has reported 29.55% fall in its net profit at Rs 352.17 Crores as compared to Rs 499.92 Crores for the previous year.

The total income of the company decreased by 9.69% at Rs 2644.79 Crores for year under review as compared to Rs 2928.61 Crores for year ended March 31, 2022.
