The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the procurement of new combat uniforms for Central Armed Police Force (CAPFs) personnel – Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, National Security Guard and Sashastra Seema Bal – in order to provide them with more comfort and sustainability on the field.
A revised Qualitative Requirements (QRs)/Specifications in this regard has been issued by the CRPF for Cloth Disruptive Polyster and Cotton (20:80) with Digital Print.
The Disruptive Pattern Cloth shall have 2 up 1 down weave. It shall be made from uniform blend of 80% Cotton and 20% Polyster. The selvedges shall be firm and straight. The cloth shall be well singed. The fabric shall be ‘Heat set’ and fully shrunk. The blemd composition of the cloth shall conform to the requirements given in Table-1
