Patria to deliver more Tracked Bridge Laying Vehicles to the Finnish Defence Forces

Patria and the Logistics Command of the Finnish Defence Forces have signed an agreement on delivery of new Leopard 2L Tracked Bridge Laying Vehicles.

The Finnish Defence Forces procures six new bridge layers that can transport, launch, and retrieve LEGUAN bridges of different lengths.

The bridge layers will be built by Patria on the Finnish Defence Forces’ Leopard 2A4 main battle tank chassis.

The complete value of the procurement without value added tax is approximately 23,6 million euros and its employment impact in Finland is approximately 70 person-years of work.

The agreement covers already the third delivery batch of Leopard 2L bridge layers from Patria.

The previous delivery projects were conducted in 2005-2008 and 2018-2022. Deliveries of the new bridge layers are scheduled for 2026-2028.
