Directorate of #Armament Production and Inspection (DAPI) is engaged in the production inspection and indigenisation of Armaments for the Indian Navy (IN). There is a requirement for design and development of electric detonators DM-12 through Indian Industry. The main function of electric detonator is to initiate the transmitting load and booster charge which in turn detonates warhead.
Development and Manufacture including testing of electric detonators DM-12. The quantity of supply is 20 Nos. Out of which eight each will be subjected to ETs and chain trials and remaining four will be for in service use. Post declaration of store as free flow (as per Para 15.13 of DPM-09), the bulk order shall be placed by DGONA based on extant requirement.
