The Indian Army is looking to buy 36 sets of Tactical Engagement Simulators (TES) for weapons training at infantry regimental centers.
A set of TES should consist of subsystems including of Individual Soldier Kit to include Individual Display Unit, Body Harness, Helmet Harness, Laser Projector, GPS & Radio Trans Receiver) x 50], Sensor Unit to include Small Alignment Unit (one), Umpire Gun (Two), Exercise Control (One), Battery Charging Mechanism (one) and Base Antenna (one) body and helmet harness, Laser Unit (LU), Sensor Unit (SU), and Display Unit (DU) — capable of training 50 participants.
The Indian Army is expected to issue a tender / Request for Proposal (RFP) for the same on December 1, 2022. The procurement would be under “Buy (Indian) category.
