Brief: The Indian Navy has issued a Request for information (RFI) for the procurement of Remotely Manned Fast Interceptor Craft Indigenous-RMFIC-1.
The Remotely Manned Fast Interceptor Craft shall be capable to carry out water front patrolling of Coastal areas including harbor infrastructure such as the Command Headquarters, Naval Base, Naval Dockyard, Break Water, Naval Jetties etc.
Further, around 20 Remotely Manned Fast Interceptor Craft are proposed to be acquired.
