EOI for Selection of Strategic Partner for Long term Collaboration Agreement for co-development co-production and co-branding of 155mm Mounted Gun System

This Expression of Interest seeks responses from prospective Strategic Partners who are Indian Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), fulfilling all the requirements of this EOI and are willing to be associated with Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) through a Collaboration Agreement (CA) on long term basis to enable AWEIL and Strategic Partner to co-develop, co-produce, co-brand and supply 155mm Mounted Gun System to Indian Army(IA)/ Ministry of Defence (MoD)/any entitled entity including export.

AWEIL intends to select a partner through this EOI and will not issue any further RFP/ document for this purpose. For making this clearer, this EOI is the final document for selection of partner.

AWEIL shall receive responses pursuant to this EOI in accordance with the terms set forth herein, as modified, altered, amended and clarified from time to time by AWEIL, and all responses shall be evaluated in accordance with such terms on or before the submission date specified in this EOI.

AWEIL seeks a prospective Strategic Partner for entering into a long-term Collaboration Agreement (CA) to indigenously design, develop, co-produce & co-brand the 155mm Mounted Gun System (MGS) in India for addressing the requirements of Indian Army(IA)/ Ministry of Defence(MoD)/any entitled entity including export.

INDICATIVE SCOPE WORK SHARE

Design, technology and capacity for manufacturing and supply of 155 mm Mounted Gun System can be broadly classified into following two categories:

1. Design, technology and capacity available at AWEIL :
   1.  Ordnance
   2.  Recoil system
   3.  Super Structure including Cradle, Mounting Body, Platform etc.
   4.  Gun Hydraulics
   5.  Integration of MGS

[NO SUPPORT IS LIKELY TO BE REQUIRED FROM THE STRATEGIC PARTNER FOR SUB SYSTEMS (i), AND (v) ABOVE, HOWERVER PARTIAL SUPPORT MAY BE REQUIRED for SUB SYSTEMS AT (ii), (iii) and (iv) ABOVE]

1. Design, technology, and Capacity not available at AWEIL:
   1. Electrical & Electronic System (EES)
   2. Fire Control System including Gun Sighting Systems.
   3. Communication System (CS)
   4. Vehicle Platform (6 X 6 or 8 X 8).
   5. Hydraulic Vehicle and Stabiliser.
   6. Outrigger, Slew Structure, Armoured Cabin and Stowage.
   7. Auxiliary Power Unit. viii. Ammunition Storage
