DRDO issues EoI for the development of Piezoelectric Based Blast Sensors

Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), a laboratory under the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), invites Expression of Interest (EoIs) from the prospective and eligible parties to submit their proposal for the development of Piezoelectric Based Blast Sensors.

Notably Piezoelectric based pressure sensors are widely used to sense dynamic pressure change.

Prospective vendors should have the expertise and capability in design, assembly, fabrication, and testing of Piezoelectric based blast sensors.

Vendors must have facilities for characterizing the sensing element.

Further, vendors must also have thorough knowledge and understanding of the interface electronics and mechanical assembly of the blast pressure.

The last date of submission of response is 18 January 2024.

Following are the broad specifications and quantity of pressure sensors as indicated in the EoI: –
